Pro's and Con's June 28, 2008 Wayne B. Kurtz (CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Overall i would say this product is just ok.. i do like the mouse its very nice. The keyboard is comfortable but not as comfortable as my Belkin ergonomic that i just replaced. the 6 and 7 keys were both reachable from my right hand index finder on that keyboard this one spreads everything apart a bit more making it more awkward. the 6 is now a good reach for my left index finger and the 7 is the same for my right.. a few conviences that were added to the keyboard if i learn to use will be nice. As far as the wireless capability... this is basicly a wired keyboard that uses batteries. I havent had to change them yet but what i mean by that is i had to buy a USB extention cable just to get the keyboard and mouse to work properly they now are both about only 6 inches from the reciever and have line of sight. Its working smooth now and i do like how quiet the keyboard is. If i could do it over i would have bought a new belkin or some similar wired ergonomic and then picked up this mouse seperately.

This product is high quality and works great. Amazon.com had the lowest price as compared to other Internet sites.
Annoying freeze ups May 29, 2008 Vickie (Ojai, CA United States) I love the keyboard and mouse, the erogonomic design is great, very comfortable to use and does help elievate the repetative strain issues I have. The problem is that the keyboard particularly, and occasionally the mouse will freeze up. I've searched Microsoft's knowledge base but don't see a solution that clearly addresses the problem and I have yet to call customer support, which is provided for the first 90 days. But I ask you, who wants to buy a new product of any kind and spend their time fixing it when it doesn't work the way it should? If I had known that I would have these problems with this product I would have selected something else.
Why not bluetooth? April 24, 2008 mylamename (New York) 1 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have always liked the Microsoft Natural keyboards, and I was looking to upgrade to a bluetooth wireless one. Now, I realize that this isn't bluetooth at all; you have use a clunky USB receiver. I should have read the description more carefully, but in 2008, I just assumed that it would be bluetooth, as my computer has that built in. I am not sure I really want to bother with this now.
Love the new Keyboard! April 20, 2008 TNAntiquer 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After over-using my hands typing over ten years ago, I have since used a Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard. The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 keyboard is so nice to use since one can place it in their lap to type. At first, the touch seemed a little hard, but I'm a hard typist, anyway - a style learned years ago on an electric Olympic Typewriter! For anyone who likes the ergonomic keyboards, I think you will find the wireless capability of this one greatly enhances and upgrades an alreaDY GREAT product!
