Okay, but not great May 29, 2008 Shawn G. Martinson (Utah USA) I've had other ergonomic keyboards before from Adesso and really enjoyed them. This keyboard however is flat, which is not at all what I wanted. The function key support is alright, but sometimes malfunctions. As has been noted previously, the 6 key is on the wrong side of the keyboard. The software interface for the keyboard is patchy at best and does not always work well. The USB ports on the keyboard work okay as long as you're not plugging in external storage devices; for some reason, the devices have a nasty habit of disappearing from the desktop. About all that can be said is buyer beware, this may not be exactly what you think.
don't bother February 26, 2008 A. Dobson Buying this keyboard was a mistake. Yes, the keypads are separated, but flat isn't great if your wrists really need ergonomic. More annoying is the poor quality--one of the keys doesn't have a spring, meaning you lose quite a few letters while typing.
Great Keyboard January 14, 2008 Dave I purchased this keyboard for my wife for her Intel Imac. On her previous "other "ergonomic keyboard, keys kept falling off. This just works great. She was used to the number 6 being on left, it's on the right side.Adesso Intellimedia MediaPro Flat Ergonomic MAC USB White Keyboard with 2 USB Ports ( AKB-805MAC)
Adesso ergonomic keyboard for Mac December 21, 2007 D. Pelletier (NH United States) I have been using the keyboard for about a month now with no problems The new mac keyboard is next to impossible for anyone with large hands to use Once you try an ergonomic board you will never go back
There are better keyboards out there! December 13, 2007 Lee E. Sill (Charleston, SC USA) There is very little for this company to be proud of about this product. It is Mac friendly in that it has all the same buttons as my original keyboard, which is exactly why I chose it online. If I could have felt how light and cheaply it was made, I would never have purchased it, which is my guess as to why I didn't see it in any of the stores I shop in. Also, the power button doesn't work at all on the keyboard. The other functions seem to work well enough, but as far as life expectancy, I give this one 6 months to a year. My last PC ergonomic keyboard was built like a tank and lasted so long I wore the bumps of the f and j keys. I have recently found a Microsoft keyboard that is Mac compatible and as soon as i find a wireless one, I'll buy it - even if I do have to configure buttons. This just makes me wish Mac would develop an ergonomic keyboard! The one that came with my Mac was very sleek and well made, but I really need the ergonomic one. The Adesso has got to be the cheapest keyboard I've ever touched and I'm 43. So don't be suckered in by the cheap price, you will definitely get what you pay for or a little less.
